zoysia tenuifolia indoors

Can you keep Zoysia tenuifolia indoors?

The short answer is no.

I did a test with four plants placed indoor right in front of the window. The exposure to full sun to each plant was about an hour or two per day. The results weren’t good so I took the planter out and am currently observing the recovery and return of chlorophyll to dormant, yellow leaves.

My guess is that if Zoysia tenuifolia was kept indoors but exposed to at least 4 to 6 hours of full sun it would thrive as if were placed outside. Unfortunately I do not have a window with so much sun in my house in order to conduct the test.
